THE STRUCTURE OF THE FAUCET

The faucet is composed of the main body, valve core, handle, water filter, water outlet, installation components, etc. Some faucets also have check valves, aerators, fixing bolts, fixing copper sheets, gaskets, elbows, hoses, through gauges, stop gauges, etc. Different faucets may be slightly different.

THE HEART OF THE FAUCET

The core of the faucet is the Ceramic Disc Cartridge. The valve core is the heart of the faucet, controlling the water flow switch, flow rate and the mixing ratio of hot and cold water. The quality of the valve core determines the functional reliability and service life of the faucet.

The valve core of the faucet can be divided into several types according to the material, such as rubber valve core, shaft roller valve core, ceramic valve core and stainless steel ball valve core. According to the function, it can be divided into three types, namely manual valve core, constant temperature valve core and magnetic induction valve core.

Most of the faucets using rubber cores are cast iron faucets that open with a spiral, which have now been basically eliminated; ceramic valve cores are a new generation of valve core materials with good sealing performance, stable physical properties, and long service life. They are generally required to be able to open and close more than 300,000 times. Calculated by opening and closing 30 times a day, they can be guaranteed to be drip-free for more than 20 years. Now, most of the faucets sold on the market are ceramic valve core faucets.

Ceramic valve cores mainly have five different diameters: 25mm, 35mm, 40mm, 42mm and 47mm.

FAUCETS OF DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS

According to the structure, it can be divided into several types of faucets. Single-joint faucets have only one water inlet pipe, and only one water pipe is connected, which can be a hot water pipe or a cold water pipe. Generally, kitchen faucets are more commonly used. Double-joint faucets can connect to both hot and cold pipes at the same time, and are mostly used for bathroom basins and kitchen sinks with hot water supply; triple-joint faucets can be connected to shower heads in addition to hot and cold water pipes, and are mainly used for bathtub faucets. Single-handle faucets can adjust the temperature of hot and cold water with one handle, while double-handle faucets need to adjust the cold water pipe and hot water pipe separately to adjust the water temperature.

According to the outlet water temperature

According to the temperature of the water, it can be divided into single cold faucet, hot and cold mixed faucet and thermostatic faucet. The thermostatic faucet is equipped with a thermal element at the outlet of the thermostatic valve core. The characteristics of the temperature sensing element are used to push the valve core of the valve body to move, block or open the water inlet of hot and cold water, so that the outlet water temperature is always kept constant. The thermostatic faucets on the market mostly use three methods: memory alloy, paraffin, and pressure regulating valve to achieve the constant temperature effect. The water pressure of the thermostatic faucet has certain requirements, generally required to be 0.1-0.5Mp, and the pressure difference between cold and hot water cannot be too large. If the hot water pressure of the thermostatic faucet is less than 0.05, the thermostatic faucet is not suitable. The hot water temperature is generally required to be 49-80 degrees, and the temperature adjustment knob can be set arbitrarily between 35℃-65℃. The thermostatic faucet is set with a 38℃ safety button to prevent scalding.
